Alex Clapp
Alex Clapp started his career training at a solicitors’ practice before being headhunted by a firm of independent law cost draftsmen. It was there he furthered his skills by taking on more responsibility and larger caseloads. Working on a wider range of both claimant and defendant work, he honed his skills and understanding of what it takes to be an effective cost draftsman.
Alex formed County Cost Consultants in 2000 and still actively manages a large caseload of his own while guiding his team, taking a hands-on approach to customer care and caseload management to ensure the best outcomes for his clients. He also delivers talks and seminars to clients on the ever-changing world of costs and how these changes may affect them.
Even after 17 years, Alex is as passionate and enthusiastic about the industry as when he first started out.
